Smartphone and tech gadget manufacturer Alcatel has announced that its latest smartphone, the Idol 4S will be up for pre-order beginning July 15.
Pre-ordering the Idol 4S will cost you $349.99, and the price will be higher at $399.99 the moment it becomes available to the public this coming August 3. The purchase kit comes with a VR headset, protecting case, and a glass screen protector.
Key specs of the Idol 4S include an AMOLED display with a quad HD resolution measuring 5.5 inches, a 16-MP Camera with 4K video capacity and f/2.0 aperture lens. Other features include a RAM capacity of 3GB and internal storage of up to 32 GB. Memory is also expandable with an SD Card slot, and is equipped with 2 SIM card slots, and the unit has a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Virtual Reality is also one features supported by the Idol 4S, given that the phone has the VR app installed, and the kit to be purchased is already inclusive of a VR headset.
The Idol 4S was announced in February during the Mobile World Congress, and is poised to be one of Alcatel’s best phones yet, as it is packed with better features but costs less than that of its successor, the Idol 3.
