‘Samsung Galaxy S8’; Everything You Need To Know: Specs, Release And More

Samsung has just released the all new Galaxy Note 7 a few weeks ago. However, the public is not contented with it as it clamors for the next Galaxy S8, Samsung’s flagship smartphone is slowly picking up its pace.

Various information about the leaked details of the upcoming Galaxy S8 is already surrounding the internet. However, the public needs to wait for a few months before its official launch. Samsung’s IF 1026 press conference would certainly have a lot of interesting announcements, possibly even the unveiling of a new Galaxy S phone.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Camera

According to PhoneArena, the Galaxy S8 will be the first of its kind to feature an improved dual-camera, similar to the trend that Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have.  There are rumors that say that it will have an 8-megapixel front facing camera instead of the 5-megapixel one that the S7 has.

What makes this even better is that an iris scanning camera will be present, taking inspiration from the newly released Galaxy Note 7. It is then highly likely that the Galaxy S8 will have a 12-megapixel rear camera, together with the 8 MP front camera.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date

The reason why the release of the Galaxy S8 will be a few months from now is to give way for the Galaxy Note 7 to reach the term of its hype – a marketing strategy that Samsung is very good at.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Display

The Galaxy S8 would also feature a revolutionary feat for smartphones as it will be the first to sport a 4K resolution on a 5.5-inch screen. It is most likely that the Ultra HD resolution would work perfectly with VR headsets.

Samsung is sure to capture the imagination of the market as it seems to be doing very well with its line of Galaxy S phones. It is not a matter of if Samsung will dominate the smartphone industry; it is a matter of until when will Samsung dominate it, knowing that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 looms over the horizon.
