The Schenker XMG P506 is meant for gamers. Flat black matte finish, no over the top Ultra HD to drag you down, a single color backlit keyboard, an aluminum casing, and 4 USB ports. The XMG PRO series was made for gamers specifically.
You won’t be opening an office app with this laptop; at least, not on purpose. Gamers love the flat black color. You can keep it ninja or you can decal focus. It’s not what’s on the outside so much as what’s on the inside that will grab your attention.
The Schenker XMG P506 is the first of their generation of Pro gaming laptops. With a 15.6″ Full HD display. XMG’s idea was to keep it crispy for viewing but to let go of some of the weight and pull of the system. Sorry, Ultra HD fans. The CPU is an Intel Core 17 processor. The GPU in the laptop is the Nvidia Geforce GTX 980M and as for the size and weight you shouldn’t be disappointed. It’s built to be light weight and gamer ready with a weight of 2.5kg and under 3cm high. The hard drive is the m.2PCIe and the processor is the i7-6820HK.
The P506 was built for one goal in mind; to bring maximum gaming performance to a laptop to answer the demand of pro gamers. When tested using 4 high-end games, including Batman Arkham Knight, it stood up to 3 of the 4. The game, The Witcher 3 was the only one that suffered a few issues. The verdict for the P506 gaming laptop is that it is worth the price even when kept at minimum specs. Keep in mind that most gaming laptops still need tweaked and each gamer wants the very best. With that being said, XMG still offers full customization of their gaming laptop. If you’re a serious gamer then you know that if you want your laptop to slam your competition then you’ll be dishing out a decent amount of money. If you know what you’re doing and what you’re looking for, the P506 could be customized for serious gaming at a decent price.
